Many of the following roles are for volunteer applicants who have already attended our Anti-Trafficking Orientation. If you have not yet attended an orientation, please click the link below to sign up to receive email notifications when registration opens for the next orientation!
If you’re great at building relationships, want to get in the trenches with us, and can commit to at least a year of consistent community, you should be an ADVOCATE!
To become an Advocate, you must complete the following steps:
Attend our Anti-Trafficking Orientation
Fill out an Advocate Application
Complete an interview with a Net Staff Member
Complete the appropriate Advocate Academy online course
Advocate Academy is an online learning center with training, information, and tangible resources to equip you to build life-changing relationships with survivors of trafficking!
RISE Advocate: Develop a one-on-one mentor relationship
Jail Advocate: Attend Jail Outreach twice per month
Event Advocate: Attend a monthly event with women involved in The Net’s program
Survivor Support Group Advocate: Attend our Survivor Support Group with women who have been affected by the sex industry
All advocate positions require a 1 year commitment, except RISE Advocates, which is a 2 year commitment.

Advocate Academy is an online learning center with training, information, and tangible resources to equip you to build life-changing relationships with survivors of trafficking!
Once you have completed an interview with a Net Staff member, we ask that you complete the appropriate Advocate Academy course so you are equipped with the tools you need to jump in and make an impact.
These opportunities do not require any training and are the perfect way to make a tangible impact today!
