By attending one of our Volunteer Orientations, you will learn what trafficking looks like in Fort Worth and be equipped with the tools you need to get involved and make a difference.
DETAILS:
Our next Volunteer Orientation will take place online Tuesday, April 21st, 7-8 pm.
In this one hour online orientation, we will cover the basics of Trafficking 101, who The Net is, and ways to get involved through our various volunteer opportunities.
While attending this orientation is the first step to join The Net in our committed, relational volunteer opportunities, a desire to volunteer is not a requirement for attending this orientation!
Please scroll down to learn more about each of our relational volunteer opportunities (advocate roles)!
Can’t make it to the Orientation above? Consider joining us for one of our future dates:
June 3rd, 12-1pm
If you are unable to make these orientations but would like to stay up to date with future events, please fill out the form below to receive email notifications!
FAQ
What volunteer opportunities require attending a Volunteer Orientation?
Am I committing to volunteer by attending Volunteer Orientation?
No! While it is the first step to getting involved as a volunteer, there is no expectation that you will commit to serving as an advocate following the Orientation. This is a great way to learn more about Trafficking in our community and the ways The Net is working to combat it and support survivors.
Is the Orientation registration fee refundable once I have paid?
Due to the time and preparation required to host this event, registrations for this event are non-refundable. Please only register once you are confident you will be able to attend!
If you have an unavoidable conflict and contact us more than 24 hours in advance, we would be happy to transfer your registration to the next training date. Registration fees for cancellations less than 24 hours in advance or no-shows will be donated towards our anti-trafficking efforts.
