The Worthy Co. is The Net’s non-profit social enterprise. Its mission is to empower & employ women survivors of trafficking, prostitution, & addiction as they improve their own lives by learning vocational skills, gaining work experience, and earning real income.

These women produce hand-made products available for purchase in our online store. Check out their hard work and support them since as a 501(c)3 100% of the proceeds go directly into back into sustaining the program.

We have BIG NEWS!

We bought a building for our Worthy Co Headquarters! That’s right. After working with survivors of trafficking the last 7 years we saw the missing link was employment and economic freedom. We needed a place to call home for Worthy Co. that provided more jobs to women. We needed a retail storefront to give the community access to the beautiful products our women make.

We are looking for community partners who want to make this dream a reality. Are you looking to walk alongside us as we bring this social enterprise to the thriving Magnolia Avenue district?

The Project

This project is a community wide effort! This space will be the first of its kind in Fort Worth. A production space, and retail storefront with one purpose. Providing employment to survivors of trafficking so they be restored and free to live a full life. It is a big project and we need YOU!

What if our city was not known for letting vulnerable and exploited women fall through the cracks, but instead as a place who stands in solidarity with them and provides opportunity for them to rebuild their lives? From victim to survivor to being fully FREE.

The project is a FREEDOM project.

the goal

We are trying to raise $500,000 by 2020. Crazy I know! But we believe it's totally possible when a community rallies around the marginalized and oppressed. So far we have secured 33% of our overall goal through generous donors and foundations.
