At The Net, it is our desire to walk alongside ladies and champion them in their successes. One way we do this is by supporting them in fulfilling some of their needs, as well as wants, once they have the opportunity to be in their own apartment or home. We invite you to share in this sweet time by looking over their wish lists and considering fulfilling one or all of the items on their list.
Criteria for Participants
To qualify to make an Amazon Wish List with a Net Staff Advocate participants must have:
Moved into their own apartment/house in the past 6 months.
Involved in The Net for a minimum of 3 months.
Enrolled in the Empowerment Path (meeting with a Staff Advocate) for a minimum of 1 month.

If purchasing items from multiple wish lists, please note that you will need to check out for each survivor’s individual items separately.
Note: We ask that all gifts/donations be approved by the appropriate Net staff member in order to protect the relationships between participants, advocates, donors, or volunteers. TW* New Home Wishlist
T* has been a part of The Net for almost two years and has patiently waited for the chance to move into her very own apartment! As a Halloween lover, she’s thrilled to finally get to decorate her own space for the holidays and make it extra cozy for her new cat, Seattle. Along with decorating a home she loves, T* has been investing in herself by attending Enrichment classes such as Ending the Game and Worthy of Recovery. On top of that, she’s up for a promotion to shift lead at work! We couldn’t be more excited to walk alongside her in this next season as she continues rebuilding her life.
VD* New Home Wishlist
V* has been involved with The Net for the past two years. During that time, she completed the Empowerment Path, created a resume, obtained employment, opened a bank account, finished her community service hours, and most recently moved into her very own apartment.
This next chapter is especially meaningful for V*, as it gives her the opportunity to create a safe and joyful home where she can raise her little girl. Her wishlist will help provide the essential items needed to make their new space comfortable, stable, and truly feel like home!
TE* New Home Wishlist
T* first came to The Next in August 2025 and has shown incredible dedication and perseverance in working toward her goals. Through her hard work and determination, she opened a Frost Bank account, secured a wonderful job at FedEx, enrolled in computer skills classes, and created a stable home by moving into a new apartment with her two children. When creating this wishlist, T* was most excited to pick out matching bedding for her son and daughter that reflected each of their unique personalities creating a space where they can feel truly at home!
DM* New Home Wishlist
D* has been involved with The Net for the past year, and in that time she has worked incredibly hard to reach her goals. She studied for and passed the state exam to earn her esthetician license and is now applying and interviewing for jobs in her new career field. She has also strengthened her budgeting skills, allowing her to save money and move into her own apartment. Most importantly, she has grown in her self-confidence. D* had the biggest smile on her face while picking out items for her wishlist, imagining all the ways she will style and make her new home her own!
VM* New Home Wishlist
V* is a driven, hard-working, mom who just moved into her apartment with her 19 year old daughter. This is their first time living together and they are loving it! We are so proud of the hard work she has put in to get to this point as she has been working for years to be able to live with her daughter, and she's doing it!
KS* New Home Wishlist
K* first came to The Net in February of this year with big goals for herself and her family, and she has been working hard to make them a reality ever since. One of her biggest milestones was securing a place of her own where she and her two daughters can begin creating a home together. As K* built her wishlist for her new home, she shared that one of her favorite parts was picking out pink bedding and bathroom accessories because pink is her daughter’s favorite color!

V* has been involved with The Net for a full year! During this time, she has completed the Empowerment Path and accomplished many of the goals she set for herself. She opened her own bank account and far surpassed each of her savings goals. V* has also stepped into a leadership role as a Survivor Leader at The Net, showing up each week eager to learn, grow, and support others. V* currently has weekly visitation with two of her children and is continuing to work toward regaining full custody. After all of her hard work, having a place to call home feels like a dream come true and a meaningful step forward in the life she is building for herself and her children!
ET* New Home Wishlist
E* has been coming to The Net for over a year! She has worked hard to gain dignified employment, maintain independent housing and also graduated from The Net’s Survivor Leader path. Her favorite way to show up and serve as a Survivor Leader is “helping connect other women to the resources they need.” Her dream in life is to start a nonprofit organization that would help care for animals that are living with those on the streets. Her favorite color is obviously pink!
DE* New Home Wishlist
D* has been with The Net for nearly two years! Throughout this time, she has successfully completed six classes, opened her own bank account, secured an amazing job, completed The Empowerment Path, and most exciting of all, reunited with her three baby girls. One of D*’s biggest priorities was moving into her own home and creating a welcoming space for her children. When she created this wishlist, she included cookware because she shared that one of her favorite parts of this new season is being able to cook homemade meals and enjoy them together as a family!

T* is an easy going friend to all at The Net. She brings a quick sense of humor and steady calmness to those around her. She has been working full-time for over a year and is currently saving for a vehicle and recently moved into a new apartment! T* is excited about having a space of her own where she can feel safe, comfortable, and settled. She’s looking forward to cooking homemade meals in her kitchen and inviting her son over for dinner! She is proud to have a home that belongs to her and is excited about creating a space that reflects her independence and her sense of style and personality.

Since then, she has successfully completed the Empowerment Path, opened her own bank account, secured employment, reached important savings goals, and most recently, moved into an apartment of her very own. Today, T* is building a stable and independent life for herself and her precious 3-year-old daughter. She loves creating new memories with her daughter and cooking homemade meals together. We are so proud of the growth and independence she has worked hard to achieve!
