Adopt a Social Event
Each month, our Purchased team hosts a themed social event for the women in our program. These events allow survivors to create new, healthy memories and build relationships with each other and their advocates.
You can “adopt” one of our monthly social events by providing a meal for 50-60 people and the decorations that will make the event extra special for our ladies. This is a great way to serve with your church small group or a group of friends!
Please note: Due to the sensitive nature of working with survivors, you will not be able to stay for the event.
2024 Social Events:
Wednesday, February 14th - Galentine’s Party - CLAIMED!
Provide a meal and Valentine’s decorations for our annual Galentine’s party! This event allows survivors to know they are seen, known, and loved and experience love in a fun, healthy environment!
Wednesday, May 29th - Field Day
A Field Day of fun! Bounce houses and fun, outdoor games will be the main event. You can provide burgers & hotdogs, carnival decorations, and other fun “fair” items for our ladies at this event!
Wednesday, June 26th - Popcorn & PJ’s Movie Night
It’s a night at the movies! Provide a meal, decorations, & popcorn for our “Popcorn & Pj’s” Movie Night! Survivors will come in their comfy clothes to watch a movie together.
Wednesday, July 31st - Craft Night
Getting crafty! Events like this give the ladies an opportunity to be creative and use their hands, something that has been shown to be very healing for trauma survivors. You can provide a meal, decorations and/or craft supplies for this social event.
Wednesday, September 25th - Karaoke Night
Provide a meal, and some groovy decorations for our Karaoke Night! Survivors and their advocates will get to show us what they’ve got on the Karaoke mic.
Wednesday, October 23rd - Pumpkin Party
It’s Fall, y’all! Provide a meal and some fun fall decoration for our Pumpkin Party. Survivors will get to paint pumpkins, dress up in Halloween costumes, and enjoy other fall-themed activities.
