The Net Internship

Interns - girls group.jpg

The Net is all about doing a lot for a little and stretching our budget as far as we can. While our internships are unpaid, support-raising opportunities are available, as well as the possibility of receiving college credit if approved by your college or university.

Our interns take a hands-on role in our weekly relationship-building events and behind the scenes preparation, as well as assist in the planning and execution of our special events. The Net interns are required to live in Fort Worth during their internship, are expected to work 12 hours a week during the school year and 20 hours a week during the summer (but trust us, you’ll want to spend even more time here).

One last thing: selfie-haters need not apply. :)

Come on, let's play! It's Wednesday, which means we are headin' to Ladera tonight! βš½οΈπŸ€ΈπŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸŽ¨πŸ₯…

What you'll leave with

In addition to the satisfaction of improving lives across our community and creating lifelong friendships with those around you, our hope for interns is three-fold:

We want our interns to look and love more like Jesus. Over the course of the internship, The Net will create opportunities for personal growth and development resulting in interns growing into more full image-bearers of Christ.

We want our interns to develop into healthy Christian leaders. This internship will equip interns with skills and opportunities that will allow interns to display their leadership capabilities.

The Net serves people experiencing poverty. As a Net intern you will as well! Our goal is to teach best practices and serve our friends experiencing poverty in a gospel-centered way pursuing holistic poverty alleviation.

Interns will have an opportunity to learn from The Net staff members, visit other organizations, plan group events, and work on strategies as a team.

Oh yeah, also come prepared with a prodigious love of coffee, because that’s kind of our thing.
