Internship
The Net is all about doing a lot for a little and stretching our budget as far as we can. While our internships are unpaid, support-raising opportunities are available, as well as the possibility of receiving college credit if approved by your college or university.
Purchased Internship Description:
The Net’s Purchased Internship is a leadership development program where interns take a hands-on role in our anti-trafficking initiatives, as well as assisting in the planning and execution of special events, donor engagement, social media management. Our Purchased interns will get a close look at outreach and aftercare programming, learn nonprofit management, and grow spiritually.
Internship Roles
Jail Outreach
Support our Jail Outreach program, where Jail Advocate volunteers visit women with a history of prostitution in jail each week. Responsibilities include coordinating with the jail and volunteers to set up visits, overseeing the event each week, and assisting in the care of volunteers.
RISE
Support our partnership with the RISE Program, a prostitution probation program. Responsibilities include attending RISE court, planning recreational events for the RISE participants, and assisting in the care of volunteers.
Survivor Support Group
Support our weekly Survivor Support Group, a group geared towards women who have ever experienced any form of sexual exploitation. Responsibilities include assisting in planning the weekly group, attending group, coordinating with volunteers, and assisting in the care of volunteers.
MASE Internship Description:
The Net’s MASE Internship is a leadership development program where interns take a hands-on role in our anti-trafficking initiatives, as well as assisting in the planning and execution of special events, donor engagement, social media management. Our MASE interns will get a close look at effective demand reduction strategies, learn nonprofit management, and grow spiritually.

Discipleship
We want our interns to look and love more like Jesus. Over the course of the internship, The Net will create opportunities for personal growth and development resulting in interns growing into more full image-bearers of Christ.
Leadership
We want our interns to develop into healthy Christian leaders. This internship will equip interns with skills and opportunities that will allow interns to display their leadership capabilities.
Service
The Net serves trafficking survivors and those involved in sexual exploitation. As a Net intern you will as well! Our goal is to teach best practices and serve these survivors in a gospel-centered way pursuing holistic healing and empowerment.
Interns will have an opportunity to learn from The Net staff members, visit other organizations, plan group events, and work on strategies as a team.
Oh yeah, also come prepared with a prodigious love of coffee, because that’s kind of our thing.
