 I. POSITION

Role: MASE Program Coordinator

Hours: 15- 20 Hours per week

  • Location: Fort Worth, TX (in person position)

Availability required: Minimum of 2 Cyber Patrols per month on weekday evenings, 4 MASE educational events per year, in person staff meetings on Mondays

Position Description

The MASE Program Coordinator is primarily responsible for the day to day operations of MASE’s buyer disruption efforts. These responsibilities include cyber patrol scheduling and support, volunteer management, coordination with strategic partners such as law enforcement and county probation, and patrol improvements. The Program Coordinator will also assist with community education and other MASE initiatives, when required.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Responsibilities

    • Own Cyber Patrols

      • Attend at least 2 patrols per month, oversee scheduling, support team leaders, coordinate ad posting, etc

      • Be the main point of contact with Epik, including monthly city leader calls

    • Technical patrol support

      • Be very proficient in the disruption platform, ad posting, and relevant troubleshooting

    • Belonging implementation lead

      • Assess each patrol team’s implementation of belonging practices (e.g. check in and debrief)

      • Work with MASE Director to establish those best practices

      • Help team captains implement best belonging practices

    • Help create vision for future of patrols

      • Relay boots on the ground info to MASE Director

      • Creatively work towards the best possible patrol experience for volunteers

    • Assist with new volunteer training

      • Oversee all new volunteer trainings and assist MASE Director as needed (including leading some training sections)

      • Actively recruit new volunteers

    • Plan and execute all-team gatherings

      • Scheduling, food ordering, presentation, story gathering, etc.

      • Facilitate more casual team bonding experiences

    • TCSO Field Operations

      • Attend when possible

      • Help train and coordinate MASE Volunteers

      • Oversee follow up with engaged buyers

    • MASE Breakfast

      • Assist with planning and executing MASE Breakfasts

      • Actively recruit new breakfast attendees

  • Additional Experiences Offered

    • 5 Stones Human Trafficking Task Force Meetings

    • Community anti-trafficking events

    • Net team events

    • Net fundraisers

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor’s degree required 

  • Prior experience with demand reduction work strongly preferred

  • General knowledge of domestic sex trafficking strongly preferred

COMPENSATION

  • $22-$26/hour
