Each year we bring the community together to celebrate the accomplishments of women have worked tirelessly, overcome obstacles, and have made their dreams a reality!

Many of them we met in jail, but now are living in their own apartments, going to school, and working at some awesome jobs.

It takes a community to gather around these women help them achieve their full potential.

We are so proud to have walked alongside these women as they become survivor leaders!

We can’t wait to see what this next season has in store for them.

What is the RISE Program?

R.I.S.E. stands for Reaching Independence through Self-Empowerment and is a program geared towards identifying vulnerable women with histories of prostitution to help them recover their life. Instead of prison, RISE offers a path to stable housing, steady income and a successful lifestyle.

The vision of the RISE program is to see every woman reach her full potential and lives a healthy, productive, drug free and non-criminal lifestyle.

Women who once felt like they had no hope are now thriving with restored lives!!

They are enrolled in college, receiving promotions at their full-time employment, maintaining multiple years of sobriety, and living in their own housing.

This is all possible because a NETwork of people came alongside them and said: "we believe in you and see your potential!”

This program is all about collaboration amongst agencies in Tarrant County committed to serving the women of RISE. Each non-profit or government agency plays a vital role in the success of the women in this program.

Through the combined efforts of these agencies, every month one woman is out of jail, the RISE program saves our county $4,247!
